Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown

Great size rooms in an older building. Biggest issue was that only 1 of the 4 lifts were working and often taking 10 minutes to go from room to lobby. Staff super friendly and helpful, I cluding receiving many Amazon deliveries.

I had an interesting experience when my car failed to start while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The parking staff which includes Ebrima, Shahied, Kaleb, DaQuan went above and beyond to support me in this stressful situation. They were very accommodating as I troubleshooted how I was going to relocate the vehicle and still carry out my weekend plans. They looked at my engine. They attempted to jump my vehicle and did all the things they could to help me move forward with my day. Unfortunately, I had to end up getting a tow but they were very considerate of my situation as my vehicle sat in a “15 minute only” spot for nearly 35 hours. This is not the typical service you receive when you are valeting your car. The staff was really wonderful, and in a highly stressful situation they allowed for me to still enjoy my visit here. There are good people in this world still, and these men were a nice reminder of that!

We booked this hotel due to it being close to a meeting we had that afternoon. We asked for an early check in to iron clothing and they most definitely obliged! Jacoby at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and accommodating, he even helped me print important documents out while also assisting new guests checking in. He was so informative and friendly, 50 stars to him! Your valet team, WOW, some of the most outstanding gentlemen we have ever met! They were so eager to help us and accommodate our needs, didn't take more than 3 minutes to retrieve our car when we needed it! Jordan and Ricky and the rest of the team were so sweet and helpful! The staff here would be the reason we returned being Hilton Honors Members for 24 years now! Lucia and the chef upstairs made incredible wings and served us prosecco and a Stella while we waited for our food. We enjoyed her energy and attentiveness, as well as the chef being so friendly! Great place to stay! Mind you that valet is the only way to park in the garage below and it is $67ish dollars for 8+ hours or more but we'll worth it! Highly recommend!

All around great experience. The staff was extremely helpful. I was only visiting a friend that was staying in the hotel. Even though I didn’t actually get a room everyone was very attentive. One person in particular, Kaleb, was a very helpful guy. We were only having a conversation in passing but he definitely helped me feel a lot better about my day. Outstanding example of what the world needs nowadays.

I came in to visit a friend whos staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. The valet Kaleb was super nice and very helpful. I was very impressed with how well They took care of my car. I only remembered Kalebs name because he was very helpful in helping me find some great restaurants to eat at, while im in Austin. Im actually thinking to move over to the Hilton Graden now Just because of how well Kaleb took care of my Ride. Plus he made me feel right at home. Thank you Kaleb I'll be coming back again.

Clean hotel with great service and very reasonably priced rooms. There are, however, four elevators and only one of them was working- which subsequently was broken but fixed a few hours later. So I'll knock a star off for that but otherwise a flawless experience.

Great location and the room was excellent. However, heads up if you are a light sleeper: being on 6th Street means loud music until 2 AM. Also, only one elevator was working during my stay, which was frustrating. ​That said, I have to give a huge shout-out to Lorenzo. I texted about the issues, and he immediately made things right by comping an amenity. I really felt like he honored the Hilton Brand Promise. Great service saves the day!

I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed my time at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the valet service was absolutely spectacular—fast, professional, and incredibly helpful. Shahied made coming and going effortless. The front desk staff was just as wonderful. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The room was beautiful and very clean, which made my stay even more comfortable and relaxing. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully prepared. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again. The outstanding service—especially from the valet team—really made this visit special. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
